What if every NFL team had their own version of "The Jersey" — I'm sure everyone has seen the infamous Browns jersey. The one that has the nameplate of every quarterback to start a game for the team since 1999. As of the 2026 offseason, there have been 42 unique QBs to start a game for the Cleveland Browns since they drafted Tim Couch 1st overall. They have had both terrible luck and discernment when it comes to drafting and signing quarterbacks, but there are other franchises that you could also point to and say the same thing about. So, I wanted to take a

Forgotten Draft Busts in NFL History? — Everyone remembers the Ryan Leafs, JaMarcus Russell’s, and Trey Lance’s of the NFL Draft, but what are some over draft busts that don’t get discussed much?
A couple of mine:
Jason Smith: 2nd overall pick in 2009, he was seen as the franchise LT for the Rams when he was taken, a few uninspiring seasons and a change to guard later, dude was out of the league by 2014
Jamaal Anderson: 8th overall pick in 2007, the converted WR had 17.5 sacks in his 2 years at DE at Arkansas, he only had 7.5 sacks

Predicted the 2026 QB Carousel (OC) — The most important position in football. One of my favorite parts of each off-season is trying to fit the pieces available at quarterback with the teams in need. There are always teams in need.
That said, situations rarely align perfectly. Between talent, contracts, scheme fits, and timelines, it usually takes compromise to make an awkward fit stick. That’s certainly where we land this year, with only one touted QB prospect available in this draft. While the Las Vegas Raiders and Fernando Mend

Age-Based NFL Teams — I compiled starting lineups for current (not necessarily rostered e.g. Tyreek) NFL players based on their current age
I had to move around a lot of players on defense and the OL because some ages had too many players at one position or too little, so some of the DL/LB may be out of position
I stopped at 32 because I started running out of defensive players
The ages should be right but please let me know if any are wrong

Sam Darnold's Comeback Might Save Zach Wilson's Career — Let’s wind the clocks back to 2020.
Everything was peaceful in the world. No chaos. No division. A totally chill, respectful presidential election where everyone was cordial and calmly agreed to disagree.
So yeah—everyone was fine, except Sam Darnold.
Darnold was quarterbacking the Jets, throwing 9 touchdowns to 11 interceptions, and leading a team that won just two games. The Jets responded the only way the Jets know how: they burned everything to the ground.

The NFL playoffs just kicked off with a thrilling Wildcard weekend, which I probably couldn’t even summarize in comprehensive enough fashion for an article. Instead, this is the time for me to reflect on the regular season and this rookie class in particular.
What I did here is put together a full offense and defense, along with six backups each, basically at every position, a

Which offensive players improved or declined the most this year? An analysis of 2025 PFF grades versus an average of 2022-2024 grades — Notes: I used a 200 minimum snap count for each year. As such, any player drafted 2023 or later will not appear, nor will any player that does not have at least 200 snaps in each year from 2022 through 2025.
The goal was to find which veteran players have had surprising jumps or fall offs in performance.

2026 Pro Bowl Rosters if Decided by PFF Grade —
Pro Bowl rosters are always a popularity contest, but it has a big effect on players. Selections could mean more money in free agency, more pay based on incentives, etc. Below are both the AFC & NFC Pro Bowl rosters based on PFF grade.
Instead of using "defensive end", "outside linebacker", & "inside linebacker", I am using EDGE (lines up on D-Line) and Linebacker (off-ball). Otherwise, you have an entire team of pass rushers who get in. I'm glad that the All-Pro team has changed this, but the

This Could be a Rough Retool — When we look at the failings this season, I think we have to start at the top end of our salary list. Who here actually lived up to their cap values?
* Of this list, I'd say Creed, Bolton, and McDuffie are the only three that actually performed at their salary, but I would say Bolton didn't live up to the $19m he's owed next year and McDuffie has some rough outings to make me question if he's worth $25m/year to the Chiefs.
* I'll give Smith and Moore a pass. Smith did until the injury and Moore

Now with every NFL team having played double-digit games, I thought it was time to reflect on the current state of the league when it comes to quarterback play, by ranking and bucketing all 32 starters, as I ultimately settled on eight different categories.
For this exercise, I chose the players who have been fixtures in the lineup for multiple contests and largely are expe
Ranking Kyler Murray's Most Likely 2026 Spots — It sure feels like the Kyler Murray era in Arizona is over. It was a long and confusing time, as Murray toed the line between an exciting, electric franchise QB, but a limited, small, low-floor option at the position. His 1st-overall status and ACL injury that disrupted two seasons really made this process drag out. But as of the 2025 season, it doesn’t feel like the best path forward for either him or the Cardinals is to stick this out.
On the surface, there may not be a massive market for Mu
