Andy Reid on Justin Fields: A legitimate backup who can win games for us
What if every NFL team had their own version of "The Jersey" — I'm sure everyone has seen the infamous Browns jersey. The one that has the nameplate of every quarterback to start a game for the team since 1999. As of the 2026 offseason, there have been 42 unique QBs to start a game for the Cleveland Browns since they drafted Tim Couch 1st overall. They have had both terrible luck and discernment when it comes to drafting and signing quarterbacks, but there are other franchises that you could also point to and say the same thing about. So, I wanted to take a

I’m just going to get two things out of the way up front. First, this season was rough. Without question the worst one I’ve seen in my 20+ years as a fan of this team. Second, I firmly believe that 90% of the issues with this franchise stem from decisions made by ownership.

Chris Simms' QB Rankings vs the actual NFL draft — # QB Rankings
Haters of the world unite. With Chris Simms dropping his [2026 QB rankings](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pH8HyKxnt4) today, it's time to tear them to shreds. But I decided to really ponder the question: "Who ranks quarterbacks better? The NFL, or could it be Chris Simms?" While the haters among us would instantly shout out "But Zach Wilson!", friendly reminder, the NFL drafted him 2nd. So if Simms was far off, the NFL was only one pick less wrong.
Simms is famous for "contrar

Predicted the 2026 QB Carousel (OC) — The most important position in football. One of my favorite parts of each off-season is trying to fit the pieces available at quarterback with the teams in need. There are always teams in need.
That said, situations rarely align perfectly. Between talent, contracts, scheme fits, and timelines, it usually takes compromise to make an awkward fit stick. That’s certainly where we land this year, with only one touted QB prospect available in this draft. While the Las Vegas Raiders and Fernando Mend

With the Jets having the 4th most cap space in 2026 I think they're well primed to trade with the Cardinals and take on the non-guaranteed portion of Kyler's money, perhaps in exchange for some of the Cardinals' mid-round picks. Or they could wait for him to be released. I toyed with the idea of Malik Willis to the Jets but I think they will want a more proven starter after the Justin Fields experiment blew up massively, especial
Every Team's "This was our Super Bowl" game from the 2025 Season — I defined a team's "Super Bowl" as a cross between "vibes have never been higher" and "who did we just beat". This list is fairly subjective so if you have your own opinions for your team that's very understandable. It's also very vibes and narrative based so I realize I could be wrong on some of these things.

So yeah—everyone was fine, except Sam Darnold.
Darnold was quarterbacking the Jets, throwing 9 touchdowns to 11 interceptions, and leading a team that won just two games. The Jets responded the only way the Jets know how: they burned everything to the ground.

I Blame The Coaching Staff For Our Regression — So I'm not taking accountability away from the players. But watching who we were as a team prior to now, there is a vast difference in even the discipline and grit we have as a team. Not sure what is going on internally and it has many fans questioning it as well in addition to even analysts as well but it seems to be that there needs to be not just a team change but coaching staff change.
The play calling has gone stale, the team has consistently looked out of sync on many of the games (Bills

Am I the only one around here that feels mostly fine with how we played? — 1) If Butker made his XP, this game is entirely different. No one wants to hate on him for it since he made that beast of a field goal before the half, but it's still true.
2) Our biggest issue on offense isn't receivers, it's LG and dealing with the fact no one canreplace Thuney.
3) Likewise our biggest issue on defense is Safefy and dealing with the fact no one can replace Justin Reid.
4) Most great QBs don't get to have a great RB to pair with them. Our only chance to get one is to draft
[Newell] The Chiefs’ emotions boiled over in last night's season-opening loss. Here’s what they said about it — Skip the click:
Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill grimaced as he extended his leg while sitting in the locker room, then briefly put both palms up to the top of his forehead as he shook off the pain.
This was minutes after the Chiefs’ 27-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers Friday night at Corinthians Arena, and something became immediately evident while next to Tranquill following his team’s season-opening defeat:
He’d just put his body on the line.
In the second half, Tranquill ha

Our talent evaluation has been terrible since the 2023 draft, especially on defense. We also are unable to sign any above average - elite players in free agency.
I'll be going through our recent drafts and current roster, feel free to read or not, I just want the discussion to be had.

Which Chiefs Depth Player Will Have The "Big Moment" vs. Buffalo? — Every Chiefs playoff game seemingly has at least one under-the-radar player make a huge contribution to a win. Some of the more remembered Chiefs "moments" have come from guys like Daniel Sorenson, Justin Watson, Kadarius Toney, and Damien Williams.
My picks for the AFC Championship are Nikko Remigio with a field-flipping return and Charles Omenihu with a multi-sack game.
