12-5 record
2-1 playoff record
Final game: Lost to Seattle in NFCCG
**OVERVIEW**
There is a lot of greatness from the Rams 2025 season that fans will remember as a whole. Career milestones for an all-time great QB, incredible catches by a dynamic WR duo and nailbiting finishes that included playoff gamewinning drives. As much as we love these positives, the hard truth is that Rams fans feel let down by the conclusion of the season.

I’m just going to get two things out of the way up front. First, this season was rough. Without question the worst one I’ve seen in my 20+ years as a fan of this team. Second, I firmly believe that 90% of the issues with this franchise stem from decisions made by ownership.

Age-Based NFL Teams — I compiled starting lineups for current (not necessarily rostered e.g. Tyreek) NFL players based on their current age
I had to move around a lot of players on defense and the OL because some ages had too many players at one position or too little, so some of the DL/LB may be out of position
I stopped at 32 because I started running out of defensive players
The ages should be right but please let me know if any are wrong

I'm going to go over the various weaknesses in the roster and coaching staff, as well as addressing cap issues and potential moves for next year, including how likely they are given who our decision makers are.
# Let's start with the offense:
**QB:** ***Patrick Mahomes*** is the best quarterback in the league, full stop.
How the Chiefs should evaluate the remainder of this season — With the Chiefs all but mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, here’s a few adjustments that can be made for the remainder of the season that I think are critical for evaluating this team going into 2026:
- Esa Pole needs starting reps at RT going forward: if he can prove he’s capable of handling RT at an above average level, it guarantees Jawaan Taylor AND Jaylon Moore will be released saving a ton of cap space. Our starting 5 Oline would be set under contract for the foreseeable future.

32 Teams/32 Days - Los Angeles Rams (2025) — # Intro
The narrative that is tied to the 2024 Rams is how they were able to climb out of the hole that was their 1-4 start, and end up just 22 snowy yards away from a potential game-winning touchdown in Philly against the eventual SuperBowl champs.
Despite the finish, 2024 will be remembered by fans favorably for a long time. There is an overwhelming love for this young team that grew up in front of us throughout the year. There were plenty of points where any sports team could have fallen ap
The 5 Hardest Decisions NFL Teams Face ahead of the Off-Season (OC) — The 2024 season has just come to an end but just as quickly as the 2025 off-season began. Adding to the excitement, the cap ceiling rose beyond projections which gave every team a healthy boost in available space, giving a little more flexibility for cap tight teams. Now, the Patriots were always going to be able to outspend everyone else, but this will help teams over the limit and near the middle be a little more aggressive.
But before we can consider external free agency, the draft, or any
Brett Veach's blunder: drafted GK & FAU over Seahawks' Mafe & D.Hall — In 2022 & 2023 Draft, teams over-drafted edge rushers in the first round: 5 first round ED in 22 class & 7 (!!) first round ED in 23 class.
Veach got impatient to spend B2B late first round picks on Karlaftis & FAU, while Seattle spent B2B early second round picks on Mafe & D.Hall.
2~3 years later, Seahawks edge duos have outperformed Chiefs edge duos……FAU isn’t even in the chart since he is just an ED4/5, only playing < 20 defensive snaps per game.
Veach’s DL evaluation is poor……
Official r/NFL Week 18 Power Rankings — Welcome to week 18 of the r/NFL Power Ranking! Just like that, this uncharacteristically lopsided season has come to a close. We'd like to thank our readers, we hope you all enjoyed this season as much as we did. Unfortunately, there wasn't as much on the line in week 18 as in seasons past. Fortunately, division games give every team *something* to play for. If you root for the Bengals or Falcons, the disappointment in missing the playoffs felt both measurable and historically predictable. The S
Sean Mcvay deserves more consideration for COTY. — Despite intense competition for Coach of the Year (COTY), Sean McVay stands head and shoulders above the rest. Let's delve into the reasons why.
Firstly, McVay managed the **second youngest team** in the NFL through the **second toughest schedule**. The Rams started **12 rookies** this year, the most in the NFL. Additionally, **18 rookies** appeared in games—a league-high number.
Besides their youth, the Rams faced formidable opposition, as this graph illustrates.

George Karlaftis may only barely be an ED2 for the rest of his career…… — Karlaftis plays next to Chris Jones. In his 3rd season, GK still literally can’t draw double teams and has bad pass rush win rates.
Official r/NFL Week 13 Power Rankings — Welcome to week 13 of the r/NFL Power Rankings! Happy Thanksgiving to the /r/NFL subreddit, the Lions have gone from a laughingstock to benefitting off the mistakes of worse-run teams. The Cowboys won their traditional game as well, with an even matchup against the Giants en route to their seventh straight loss. On the other hand, the Bills and Eagles look more in control than ever, with a 7 and 8 game win streak respectively. The Falcons have lost three straight after a strong start, whose cur
Official r/NFL Week 12 Power Rankings — Welcome to week 12 of the r/NFL Power Rankings! There are now eight teams with eight or more wins, three of which reside in the NFC North (Take notes Puka). With a division win against a potentially spiraling Dan Quinn, is it extension time for McCarthy? The Chiefs look more vulnerable than ever, but won again while other upper tier teams like Pittsburgh and Houston took a step back. John let his team do the talking for Jim, the Dolphins also knocked out the Patriots to lock up a third straight
Chiefs DL is thin w/o Chris Jones — Karlaftis & Wharton draw too few double teams.
Even with few double teams, Karlaftis only has a medium pass rush win rate.
It’s all Jones who wins the most often with the highest double team rate among DTs. He even has to play ED often.
Jones is already 30. Can’t let him burn himself like this without others standing up to ease his burden.

We’ve arrived at the mid-way point of the 2024 NFL season. Unlike most people, who still use week eight as the timestamp for that description, I think it should be pretty clear now that this is actually the exact moment to reflect with half of the 18 weeks down. Of course, only about half the league has had their bye weeks so far, so I will use per-game statistics rather than

Unlike most weeks where one topic jumps out to me for a video or article I want to write or even there’s a point in the season where it makes sense to do power rankings or mid-season awards, there were several ways I considered going here. However, as I looked a broader view at the NFL landscape, my one grand thought I came away with is the state of affairs for the teams at the

Warning : this is a long ass post, with some meandering, but I promise you, there is a point to all of this. There’s been a lot of talk in the early part of this year about the down trend in scoring. This isn’t really anything new - this has been the trend ever since 2022. Right now, it doesn’t seem like the next innovation on the offensive side of the ball is coming this year. They’re still getting their asses kicked, and don’t seem to have gotten closer to countering the defensiv
Chiefs Not Ranked Well… — I know Mike Danna has been listed with a calf injury this week but this chart makes me wonder if Mike Danna has been hurt longer than we have known? He’s way down there in no man’s land by himself. Karlaftis also doesn’t seem to be ranked well either….

Kirko pulled a win out thanks to Saquon's only misstep of the game, CJ Stroud is hope for a brighter tomorrow, and are the Cardinals for real for real? Kansas City won by a bleached blond hair length, Green Bay found a way to win on the ground, and New Orleans doesn't seem to care who they'll drop 50 on next week. Is it time for Baltimore to panic? We're just three days away from the NFL season being kicked off with an AFC Championship game rematch, where this time around it’s the Ravens travelling to Kansas City, as the Chiefs begin their quest to becoming first team to ever win three titles in a row.
So it’s time for me to once again put all of my predictions out there in the ether – all the major awards, playoff seedi

It’s that time of the year again. Players across the NFL have voted for their peers and created a list of the top 100 among those – and so did I. As always, I have to mention the fundamental issue with how the official list is put together, considering each participant only lists their first 20 names, which encourages some biases for teammates. Veach doing so well, a big move could make sense — No need to rebuild after the Super Bowl win for Brett Veach; its time to reload. The question is how. And there's a lot of flexibility for him.

Quick thought experiment:
What if the Chiefs didn't sign anyone else, didn't make another trade, and didn't use any of their draft picks this off-season, just filled-out the roster with UDFAs...
Would they still stand a pretty good chance of winning the division? Maybe even be the betting favorite?
Would you bet against them winning the Super
