Seth Keysor on Bain — Since we've already had a post on Bain that was unfortunately made with little effort other than calculating pressure rate (a stat that, like any other, needs more context) and ranking the result against other prospects, as opposed to giving thoughts on film analysis, I wanted to share Seth Keysor's Substack post on Bain's tape. For those who are unfamiliar, Seth does some excellent film study and I trust his analysis more that most. If you aren't subscribed, I highly recommend doing so to suppo

**OVERVIEW**
There is a lot of greatness from the Rams 2025 season that fans will remember as a whole. Career milestones for an all-time great QB, incredible catches by a dynamic WR duo and nailbiting finishes that included playoff gamewinning drives. As much as we love these positives, the hard truth is that Rams fans feel let down by the conclusion of the season.
Celebrating your quarterback winning MVP
What if every NFL team had their own version of "The Jersey" — I'm sure everyone has seen the infamous Browns jersey. The one that has the nameplate of every quarterback to start a game for the team since 1999. As of the 2026 offseason, there have been 42 unique QBs to start a game for the Cleveland Browns since they drafted Tim Couch 1st overall. They have had both terrible luck and discernment when it comes to drafting and signing quarterbacks, but there are other franchises that you could also point to and say the same thing about. So, I wanted to take a

I’m just going to get two things out of the way up front. First, this season was rough. Without question the worst one I’ve seen in my 20+ years as a fan of this team. Second, I firmly believe that 90% of the issues with this franchise stem from decisions made by ownership.

Chris Simms' QB Rankings vs the actual NFL draft — # QB Rankings
Haters of the world unite. With Chris Simms dropping his [2026 QB rankings](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pH8HyKxnt4) today, it's time to tear them to shreds. But I decided to really ponder the question: "Who ranks quarterbacks better? The NFL, or could it be Chris Simms?" While the haters among us would instantly shout out "But Zach Wilson!", friendly reminder, the NFL drafted him 2nd. So if Simms was far off, the NFL was only one pick less wrong.

Predicted the 2026 QB Carousel (OC) — The most important position in football. One of my favorite parts of each off-season is trying to fit the pieces available at quarterback with the teams in need. There are always teams in need.
That said, situations rarely align perfectly. Between talent, contracts, scheme fits, and timelines, it usually takes compromise to make an awkward fit stick. That’s certainly where we land this year, with only one touted QB prospect available in this draft. While the Las Vegas Raiders and Fernando Mend
Thoughts on adding Cam Jordan? — There’s some buzz about the Kansas City Chiefs potentially adding veteran pass rusher Cameron Jordan, and it could actually be a great fit.
Jordan has been a consistent force with the New Orleans Saints for years, and even at this stage of his career…..now 36 I believe, he can still pressure the quarterback. Pairing him with Chris Jones would give the Chiefs another experienced pass rusher and help strengthen their defensive rotation.
Thoughts? Given our cap situation and lack of depth I perso

Here's the history of those selections for an example of the type of player we'll be drafting — Note: The exact draft number of our picks will change once compensatory picks are awarded in mid-March. This is where the picks currently are.

Should a top prospect throw the combine to be drafted later? — Given that top nfl prospects are already millionaires from their time in college, why not make a little less on a rookie contact and avoid playing on a career killer of a bad team? the real NFL money is in the second contact and if you're playing on a good team you're far more likely to get that second contact.
Let's consider Ruben Bain.
He was(is) a plausible top 5 pick. But his arms are 1 inch shorter than expected so maybe he won't be a top 5 pick. If slides from pick 3 (Cardinals, 50m) t

32 Teams / 32 Days: 2025-2026 Baltimore Ravens — Anticipation for the Baltimore Ravens' 2025-2026 season was systemic.
Analysts and fans projected the roster as Super Bowl favorites, predicated on a mostly-returning roster, the continued maturation of Lamar Jackson, and a defense that concluded 2024 as a solid unit. Predictions favored a dominant AFC North trajectory and the conference's primary seed.
Reality proved different. Early-season attrition via injury compromised depth. The offense lacked red-zone efficiency and consistency. Defens

Legendary nfl combine performances — With the NFL Combine underway, here are some of the most gifted athletes to test at the Combine (in no particular order). A lot of these players you probably never heard of.
2006 TE Vernon Davis (6'3 254): The fact that Davis holds the combine 40 record (4.38) for tight ends after nearly 20 years is testimony to how much of a legendary athlete he is. The average tight ends 40 time is in the 4.7s. Davis wasn't all speed either, he put up 33 reps on the bench, only a few tight ends have done more
Why don’t more people talk about the dropped INT in the end zone that Mahomes got away with on his go ahead drive in the 2018 AFCCG or the fact that his only completion that entire drive was a pick play that was blatant OPI? — https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k5Lf4p7mTgk at 12:44.
Seriously… everybody talks about the Dee Ford offsides play to this day but conveniently forgets that on the previous drive (when the Patriots were still LEADING 24-21), Mahomes got away with a terrible dropped INT to Jonathan Jones in the end zone on an arm punt with only 2 minutes 54 seconds left in the game. I mean he had his entire head and body turned around before the ball was even thrown at him and the ball was literally thrown right a

Age-Based NFL Teams — I compiled starting lineups for current (not necessarily rostered e.g. Tyreek) NFL players based on their current age
I had to move around a lot of players on defense and the OL because some ages had too many players at one position or too little, so some of the DL/LB may be out of position
I stopped at 32 because I started running out of defensive players
The ages should be right but please let me know if any are wrong

[Chris Jones] @cheetah it’s ⏰
Every Team's "This was our Super Bowl" game from the 2025 Season — I defined a team's "Super Bowl" as a cross between "vibes have never been higher" and "who did we just beat". This list is fairly subjective so if you have your own opinions for your team that's very understandable. It's also very vibes and narrative based so I realize I could be wrong on some of these things.

Why Chiefs must prioritize pass rush help for Chris Jones — Why Chiefs must prioritize pass rush help for Chris Jones
Offseason Trade Target: Keeanu Benton — PIT Steelers DI Benton is entering his final rookie contract year. As of now, Benton has very good pass rush win rate and good run stop rate 💪
He does these while playing 44 snaps per game, which is quite close to Chris Jones' snaps
Steelers are rebuilding so I guess a late 2nd round pick can do the trade for Benton, who is just 25 years old and entering his prime era
Benton has 34 inches long arms along with 6-4 height and 309 weight. Size is his advantage
Just some thoughts after tonight’s game — Nohl Williams has looked like a stud when on the field. No excuse for why he hasn’t been playing more.
Brashard Smith should be our main return guy moving forward. Was nice seeing someone that actually has some juice back there.
Connor does not have the athleticism to cover nfl receivers. Please stop putting him in coverage.
Fulton actually looked pretty good tonight. Hope he continues this upward trend into next season.
Chris Jones mental mistakes costing us games is getting real old but
[McMullen] Four Chiefs have been selected to this year's Pro Bowl, and another three have been picked as alternates. Creed and Chris Jones were voted in as starters, while Travis Kelce and Trey Smith will be backups
Let’s Argue: The Kansas Chiefs should trade Chris Jones this offseason
This Could be a Rough Retool — When we look at the failings this season, I think we have to start at the top end of our salary list. Who here actually lived up to their cap values?
* Of this list, I'd say Creed, Bolton, and McDuffie are the only three that actually performed at their salary, but I would say Bolton didn't live up to the $19m he's owed next year and McDuffie has some rough outings to make me question if he's worth $25m/year to the Chiefs.
* I'll give Smith and Moore a pass. Smith did until the injury and Moore
[McMullen] Here's Thursday's full injury report. 18 Chiefs are listed, including 6 DNPs. Trent McDuffie returned to practice, while Derrick Nnadi was added.

I'm going to go over the various weaknesses in the roster and coaching staff, as well as addressing cap issues and potential moves for next year, including how likely they are given who our decision makers are.
# Let's start with the offense:

Lets hope he brings it to the 4th
A Chiefs Prayer — St Andy Reid, the greatest coach of all time, please win this game so the chiefs still have a playoff chance. Please protect Patrick, Lord knows he needs it with the o-line hurt. Oh and if you could St Andy, make Chris Jones play hard the WHOLE game. Amen
If we lose to the Texans, we should go full tank mode and try to finish last in the division. — The Patriots finished last in the AFCE last year and have greatly benefited from an easy schedule this season.
We would get a much better draft position and potentially a top 8-10 pick. This would easily allow to start our rebuild and hopefully compete in the 2028 season.
Cut Travis Kelce, he's too good and would actively prevent us from tanking.
Restructure Mahomes contract, he gets a fat bonus but needs to sit out of the rest of the year with a fake injury.
How funny would it be if we l
Chiefs' draft failures to bring Jones & Kelce successors — Brett Veach has been GM for 7 years. He inherited Chris Jones & Travis Kelce from John Dorsey, his predecessor.
For these 7 years, Veach had so many 1st and 2nd round picks but just never obtained successors for Jones & Kelce while they are aging to 31 and 36, respectively.
A successful successor doesn’t have to be 100% as powerful like Jones & Kelce because they are 100% going into HOF. 95 & 87 are both unicorns and once in a lifetime level.
However, a successor must be at least a high quali
Legalized gambling is ruining the NFL. — Sure, the Chiefs have things they need to fix. Every team does. But there's been some increasingly wild shit in these NFL games as of late, and it's not just affecting the Chiefs. But the late penalties, non penalties, etc. called by the refs are getting pretty obscene. And it's not just the refs. Coaching staff making questionable calls for their own teams. E.g. the Browns punting from the 29 yard line against the Raiders on Monday. It's getting so egregious, I have to wonder if individual play
It ends on the shoulders of these guys. — Absolute shit performance by the Chiefs dline. So many key moments they were not able to make a play, and could never get consistent pressure.
No reloaded weapons on offense next year... what little we can add will need to be focused on getting some guys who can actually get some pressure.
What a waste of a great Mahomes performance.
