Bengals S Bryan Cook says goodbye to the Chiefs and Kansas City. “Thank you for all the memories.”
How concerned are we about the defense at this point? — Considering we have now lost Trent McDuffie, Jaylen Watson, Josh Williams, Bryan Cook, Charles Omenihu and Leo Chenal, how worried are we about this defense?
Yes we've added a couple of nice pieces in Khyiris Tonga and Alohi Gilman and that fills a couple of holes, but we need more bodies on the DL, we need another quality linebacker, we need two corners, we need a safety, and we need an edge rusher.
We have plenty of draft capital and that's great, but you can't exactly go into the draft and

Which defensive players improved or declined the most this year? An analysis of 2025 PFF grades versus an average of 2022-2024 grades — Notes: I used a 200 minimum snap count for each year. As such, any player drafted 2023 or later will not appear, nor will any player that does not have at least 200 snaps in each year from 2022 through 2025.
The goal was to find which veteran players have had surprising jumps or fall offs in performance.

Roster Evaluation — Listen, I don't want to beat the dead horse but there are two serious problems that we've had for years that is finally catching up. Our talent evaluation has been terrible since the 2023 draft, especially on defense. We also are unable to sign any above average - elite players in free agency.
I'll be going through our recent drafts and current roster, feel free to read or not, I just want the discussion to be had.

[OC] 2025 NFL Punting Tiers — I have done this thought exercise the past few years on this account and my old one (now deleted), u/puntersarepeopletoo6. You can still find them in the search. If you do, be sure to only mention the things that I got right and ignore everything I got wrong. Lets keep this a safe space from my old negative receipts.
The methodology: I do not use traditional stats. I do not think that these stats are valuable as they lack context outside of extremely low outliers. YPA does not factor in field p

[OC] True Yards/Punt Leaders: what yards per punt stats look like when punt distance isn't as likely to be hindered by the opponents end zone. (A.J. Cole III 55.6, Jack Fox 54.9...) — *What happens to punting averages when we look at punts that aren’t impeded by the punter being too close to the opponents endzone?*
I don’t know much about punting or punting stats, but I do know that yards-per-punt is somewhat meaningless given that a significant number of punts are situations where the punter has to take something off the punt in order to pin a team inside the 10 or 20-yard line and avoid a touchback. Additionally, the opponent’s endzone provides an artificial cutoff to the
2025 Offseason Review: Dallas Cowboys — **Dallas Cowboys**
Division: **NFC East**
As a fan of the Cowboys, every year that they don't make the NFC Championship Game makes the heat death of the universe seem more appealing. Perhaps because we know the only being that will still be in existence; to suffer an ineffable eternity of winlessness, will somehow be Jerry Jones. If a nonsense soundbite about contract negotiations is thrown into the endless void and no one is there to hear it, is it still a soundbite? Did the Cowboys move the

Players with an asterisk left the team after winning that Super Bowl but returned and are currently on their roster.
