[Injury] Adou Thiero receives a hard elbow to the face during a drive to the rim by Chet Holmgren, and Thiero is also called for the foul.
Thiero heads to the locker room with a towel on the injured place, and the Lakers successfully challenge the call, turn it into offensive foul on Chet.
Cap experts can you explain how much cap space will we have next season? I know that Austin reaves will have a 20m cap hold. So if we don’t re-sign Rui Kleber and keep Kennard at a similar contract will we have around 70m in cap space?
Our Depth Issue- We have 8 bad players not including Kleber who are not getting any play-time at all. Nearly every NBA team let alone contending team has more useable players. — I don’t know why our depth and two ways are mostly made up of small guards or one-way players. We obviously needed length and athleticism and defence but Pelinka chose to stick to redundant players who fill no holes in the rotation. Theres many small pickups that could be had.
Nick smith jr, Chris manon, Jared Vanderbilt, Adou thiero, drew timme, Knecht,Kobe Bufkin, bronny james. Then a maxi kleber who’s injured. Contrast this with thunder who has nearly every position filled with someone compe

Orlando is on a 3-game losing streak and after being torched two Alexanders for 40 points, I'm going to check the Lakers roster for any other Alexanders just to be safe. — Charlotte dropped a ton of threes on our head, but they've been doing for three months now, so no Alexanders needed for that. Lakers are on a roll though, so they may not need an Alexander for this game. This honestly feels like a "Where's Austin?" game since LeBron and Luka have both been having a great week.

A lot of us Fans wanted Maxime Raynaud or Kalkbrenner however we got a raw injured Adou thiero, in the next draft what similar centers might go in the 2nd round we could pick up? — These two are showing out, so many fans here wanted these two dudes however pelinka went and chose Adou thiero who’s probably a long term project and not plug and play like these other dudes which a championship contender needs.
LeBron and Almamy Thiero (Adou’s Dad) after last night’s game 🐐
Luka has had the best defensive in/off rating in the team since his last tech — \-38.8 diff, that’s just insane. 105.2 defensive rating.
Him running down on defense instead of arguing with the refs makes a massive difference.
He’s actually not a bad defender when he stops giving up easy points in transition.

Lakers Roster Next Szn: — Seeing the success of this team lately has me excited for the future, not only the playoffs but the next few years as we head into Austin and (the second half) of Luka’s peak. I think what we’ve seen over the past few games has proven that we have a strong core (Luka, AR, a couple of pieces) to build off of. these are my thoughts on the roster we should aim to build going forward.

Adou thiero should be getting some of jake's minutes... — And TBH if we had gotten him time this year he probably could of already replaced him in the rotation...
I mean if jake is shooting so bad from 3, our team worst plus minus, yea I really think adou would of replaced him in the rotation already.
And if he can shoot over 35% from 3 that would be insane.. Not like its that hard or rare for a player to be a mediocre 3 point shooter and he's got the athleticism for it
[McMenamin] Lakers rookie Adou Thiero is coming off a 25-point game on 10-for-12 shooting (5-for-5 from 3) with 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in the G League. Could there be minutes on the Lakers? JJ Redick: “Definitely want to get him opportunities. Those opportunities are not there right now.”
Adou Thiero last night: 25 points on 10/12 FG and 5/5 3PT — Warriors G-League broadcasters were very impressed with Thiero. One said: “**They got to find minutes for this guy.**”
Many of us Lakers fans agree!
It’d be one thing if Pelinka made a bigger win-now move at the deadline, but the Lakers have made clear their focus is on the future.
With that in mind, Thiero should get a little bit more playing time, right?

My take on the future of the current roster of this team — This is going to be ordered from staying to gone
**Luka and Reaves:** ***Staying***
This is a nobrainer, they are the core and backcourt for the foreseeable future.
**Luke Kennard:** ***Staying***
He is the perfect 6th man for Luka and Reaves, good passer as a connector, insane gravity as a shooter and good decisionmaker.
His defensive profile is very similiar to both of them, so if we surround them with defenders to help even out their shortcomings, they will also fit well with Kennard

[Highlight] Adou Thiero with the thunderous And-1 dunk on Maxime Raynaud (with replays). Lakers and Kings commentaries
[Lane] The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled guard Bronny James Jr. and forward Adou Thiero from the South Bay Lakers.
Adou Thiero — With the Lakers' season turning out the way that it has, being painfully obvious that they're not contending, is there any reason why Adou Thiero isn't getting NBA reps in?
With the way the new CBA puts restrictions on teams, it is so important for teams to draft and develop young players. This would be the prime opportunity for Redick to give Thiero some reps and let him develop. I'm aware he's recently come back from an injury, but he's playing in the G anyway.

It basically shows us, who, when on the floor is actually making the Lakers better or worse:

Marcus Smart leads the regular rotation players at 7.0
